The Company

In 1992 Marcus Dienst decided to be an independent cue maker and service provider in billiards service. At first he started as subcontractor for other companies, always aiming for independence. After short time the skilled toolmaker found his passion for filigree work/art of custom cue making. He followed his aim insistently and soon the principal office in Siemensstr. 11 was rehired and equipped. Although Marcus had a very good fine mechanical and high accurate apprenticeship, the first self-made cues were not as easy to build as he had believed. He noticed quickly that it takes indefatigable application and hard work to reach the quality of his archetypes: the American cue makers.

Now he is able to work with a perfection that seeks for it´s kind! Many top-players are thrilled of his work. Anyway Marcus hasn´t lifted up. Quite the contrary! He always willingly passes his standpoints and personal experiences on, and not just to top-players who will maybe buy a custom made cue: he offers this service to everybody, like an 11-year old girl which wants a cheap cue of other manufacture for private. The call for an own catalogue won`t stop. But it doesn´t make much sense to make an own catalog, because we always produce unique cues.

But you can find works in our gallery, where you can find inspirations and see a few of our cues made up to now. In the last years we have meade over 4000 fotos of our cues and new ones are made almost every day. To keep the amount of work low we put the pictures online piece by piece without detailed information. But you can always call us for further information or send us an email.
